# Payments

The Payments menu is the operational heart of the Dashboard: find any transaction, act on it, and handle the exceptions.

**Requires:** payment permissions on your access group. Viewing requires *view payment details*; each money-moving action (capture, void, refund) has its own permission — see the [Permissions Reference](../permissions.md).
